That’s Jenny & Tyler and they have a new single out on iTunes( http://bit.ly/jtsos) a cover of Simon & Garfunkel’s ‘Sound of Silence.’  All proceeds from the sell of the song go to the ongoing fight against human trafficking.  The song broke into the top 10 of iTunes singer/songwriter chart yesterday and they’d like to keep the momentum going for the cause. Check it out.
-Marc Gunn, producer of the Celtic Music Podcast and editor of Celtic Music Magazine has compiled the annual St. Patrick’s Day mp3s  available for download here.
-Katie Herzig is currently on tour which isn’t so much the news, but if you are local to Louisville she will be playing at Headliner’s on May 19th. Â Ticket information is available here. Â Other tour information, including dates and venues, is available here.
-Also local to Louisville a number of bands are offering up house concerts for auction to support the G.O. Ministries. Â Check it out here. Â The auctions appear to end this weekend so bid early, bid often.
-Lastly for this week, the original programmer behind the original post-apocalyptic Wasteland is turning to the crowd to fund the sequel. Â The good news is that has achieved it’s funding goals in the past three days, but you can still contribute at the Kickstarter page and help make it a multi-platform reality.
