Friday Flashback – 8 miles out of Memphis (first) edition

There is no shortage to the ironic…no fortuitous timing on this.  On this day in 1967 Kenny Rogers left The New Christy Minstrels and formed The First Edition.  This is perhaps one of their best known musical contributions, due in part to the movie The Big Lebowski.  If you are in Louisville this weekend may I suggest taking in Lebowski Fest?
